Elling Eide Library Internship Program

The Eide Library welcomes inquiries from undergraduate and graduate students interested in project-based research internships. These opportunities are especially well suited to students with backgrounds in Asian studies, Chinese or Japanese studies, or library and information science.

Working with Library staff, interns contribute to a defined project that may involve archival research and processing, metadata creation, preparation of research guides, collection description, digitization, or exhibition research. Each internship is developed in relation to current Library priorities and the student’s academic background, skills, and goals. Our aim is to provide substantive, hands-on experience while advancing research and access to the collections.
